Steph Curry's Interaction With Sabrina Ionescu at Liberty-Aces Is Turning Heads

NBA star Stephen Curry was in attendance for the New York Liberty versus Las Vegas Aces matchup on Sunday.

Following the 75-71 victory for the Liberty, WNBA star Sabrina Ionescu was spotted greeting Steph Curry on the sideline. The two shared a lengthy conversation and a hug before Ionescu returned to the locker room.

The WNBA's official page on X posted the video and it's received over 20k views.

Curry wasn't the only athlete at the game. He was joined by Klay Thompson, Dereck Lively II, and Devin Booker. All eyes were on the primetime matchup between the No. 1 team in the WNBA, the New York Liberty, versus the No. 4 Las Vegas Aces.

Ionescu finished the game with 14 points, four assists, and four rebounds in 32 minutes of game action.

The WNBA star has been in the MVP conversation throughout the entire season. Heading into the Liberty's matchup against the Aces, Ionescu was averaging 19.4 points, 6.0 assists, and 4.6 rebounds per game.

Ionescu and the New York Liberty will be back on the court on Sept. 10, set to face the Dallas Wings. They have five games left in the regular season, three of which will be played on the road.

The Liberty currently hold a 29-6 record. They're one of the hottest teams in the league, riding a three-game win streak while winning eight of their last 10 games.
