Quinn Ewers’ Unexpected Moment with Michigan Fan Captures Attention

The Texas Longhorns (2-0) secured a decisive 31-12 victory over the Michigan Wolverines (1-1) on Saturday in Ann Arbor, with quarterback Quinn Ewers delivering a stellar performance in a high-stakes game.

Michigan came into the matchup boasting a 23-game home win streak. After a competitive first quarter, Texas surged ahead and dominated the remainder of the game.

Ewers completed 24 of 36 passes for 246 yards, three touchdowns, and a 151.6 passer rating. He remained composed despite the intense atmosphere and never shied away from the moment.

Notably, Ewers also had an encounter with a young Michigan fan and his father, who, despite a slight display of disrespect, were able to get a photo with him.

After the game, Ewers was approached by a young Michigan fan and his father, who asked for a photo. Ewers, being a class act, agreed immediately.

However, the father signaled to his son to drop the "horns down" hand symbol, a gesture that Texas fans take seriously and which some view as disrespectful. Despite this, Ewers maintained his class and professionalism throughout the interaction.

The encounter drew a lot of attention, and Ewers received a lot of praise for his professional response to an odd thing done by Wolverines fans.

Looking ahead, the Longhorns’ next three games are against UTSA , Louisiana-Monroe , and Mississippi State —opponents that are not expected to challenge Texas significantly.
