Former Iowa Hawkeyes women's basketball player Gabbie Marshall recently announced that she would be starting a podcast, sharing the news with her fans on social media.

Following the initial post, which surfaced on Instagram and Marshall shared with over 285k followers, Caitlin Clark responded.

The now Indiana Fever guard played with Marshall at the collegiate level for four years. Marshall has since moved past the game of basketball, while Clark is climbing up the WNBA's ladder en route to being an MVP candidate.

When Marshall announced the news on social media, Clark was there to support her.

    "Gonna subscribe obviously," Clark said.

As Marshall embarks on a new journey off the basketball court, she expressed her excitement about starting something that she's been debating "for a while now."

Her podcast will be called "Just Gabbin' Podcast."

She explained that it's a fun and creative way for her to share her story and also mentioned that she will be joined by a co-host, Spencer Touro, Marshall's boyfriend.

While Marshall didn't share when the first episode will be released, she said that in the introduction to her podcast she will be speaking about her development in basketball, the college recruiting process, and her decision to become an Iowa Hawkeye.
