Joel Klatt Names CFB Team That's 'Going To Be An Issue For People'

College football's Miami Hurricanes (2001), Tennessee Volunteers (1998), Notre Dame Fighting Irish (1988) and Nebraska Cornhuskers (1997) are seeking to end their national title droughts in 2024.

The Nebraska fan base is one of the most loyal in college football. Fans consistently sell out Memorial Stadium, even when the team has not been up to par in the past.

While Joel Klatt grew up disliking Nebraska and eventually played for its hated rival, the Colorado Buffaloes, he always respected the Cornhuskers. He talked about how Nebraska fans finally have something to be proud of under head coach Matt Rhule.

On a recent edition of " The Joel Klatt Show ," Klatt discussed the top games from Week 2, including the Nebraska-Colorado game, which the Cornhuskers won, 28-10.

Klatt said that Nebraska is "going to be an issue for people" in 2024.

"Now they've got something that they can be proud of," Klatt said. "I'm here to tell you that what I was saying in the preseason is coming to fruition during the regular season. Nebraska is going to be an issue for people."

Rhule is off to a good start but Nebraska has 10 games left in the regular season. Nebraska has not been to a bowl game since 2016, when the Cornhuskers played the Tennessee Volunteers in the Music City Bowl.

Nebraska faces Northern Iowa next on Sept. 14. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on Big Ten Network.
