NFL fans are on edge after Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh’s comments about star quarterback Lamar Jackson during his press conference on Monday, September 9.

Following a heartbreaking 27-20 Week 1 loss to the reigning Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, where tight end Isaiah Likely appeared to catch the game-tying touchdown as time expired—only to have it overturned due to his foot being out of bounds—concerns about Jackson's health have intensified.

The situation worsened when Jackson unexpectedly missed practice on Monday with no explanation. Fans grew more anxious after Harbaugh addressed the media about Jackson’s absence, leaving his status unclear.

“We had a number of guys out there,” Harbaugh said. “Some personal, some physical. The injury report comes out Wednesday afternoon, so you’ll be better advised then.”

It remains uncertain whether Jackson missed practice for personal reasons or due to an injury. Despite no official confirmation, there’s growing speculation that Jackson’s absence could be linked to the physical toll he endured during the Chiefs game.

Jackson had 395 total yards of offense and one passing touchdown but was hit 13 times as a runner. He was also hit twice while dropping back to pass, including one sack.

Fans have expressed their concerns across social media.

“I don’t like the sounds of that,” said one fan.

    “Dear Lord....” added another.

“So 8 hurt” a concerned individual chimed in.

While many fans are worried, others are expressing frustration instead of concern.

The Ravens, aiming for a return to the AFC Championship game for the second straight season after falling short to the same Chiefs team, know they need their two-time MVP, Lamar Jackson, at full strength to make another deep playoff push.

His health and presence on the field are critical for Baltimore’s Super Bowl aspirations this year.
