Jets Shocker: 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey OUT Injured for ‘MNF’

SEPT 9 CMC OUT In a surprise, 49ers MVP back Christian McCaffrey is inactive tonight against the Jets for Week 1 on Monday Night Football.

McCaffrey was listed as questionable after being limited in practice last week with calf/Achilles injuries … all of which the team tried to downplay.

McCaffrey had spoken confidently about being able to play … but his absence could mark a sea change in the outcome for the traveling Jets.
