Miami-Dade police released body cam footage of Tyreek Hill's detainment before the Miami Dolphins game on Sunday, sparking an outcry against the officers involved.

Hill was detained outside of Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday, with an initial video of the incident showing police surrounding the Dolphins wide receiver, handcuffing him and taking him to the ground.

Police released body cam video from the officers on the scene, with Fox Sports reporter Andy Slater sharing a three-and-a-half-minute segment on X . The longer clip showed police threatening to break HIll's window after he rolled it back up, then forcefully pulling him from the car and to the ground.

The video sparked outrage, with many criticizing what they saw as an aggressive reaction from the officers.

"BREAKING: The Tyreek Hill body cam footage has been released. And it is about as disgusting as you would expect," wrote former NFL player turned analyst Emmanuel Acho .

"Every cop involved should be fired and arrested," another wrote . "Gave no reason as to why they pulled him over like they’re supposed to do and forcefully took him out of the car and quite frankly beat and abused him for not rolling down his window (not a crime) after once again pulling him over without justification."

Others said that police should have tried to de-escalate the situation.

"Man we got a serious cop problem in this country. What a joke. Not one logical cop there to deescalate the situation," added another.

Hill had spoken out about the incident, telling NBC News that he feared a worse outcome if he were not a famous NFL player.

"If I wasn't Tyreek Hill, Lord knows, I probably would have been, like, worst-case scenario, I would have been shot or would have been locked up," Hill said.

He gave his drivers’ license and rolled down the window again — rather than de-escalating, cop “redirected” him to the ground.. nice legalese wording asshat — and was being sarcastic about getting surgery for his ears. Imagine if he wasn’t a sports player.. this would have gone a different route. This was all a power ego for the cop — all caught on camera.

Very unsafe when you can't see what they're doing behind tinted windows. Secure the person to ensure safety. Makes sense to me.
