Monday Night Football hasn't gone exactly the way the New York Jets have wanted it to go to open the season, but that doesn't mean they still can't find some plays to build off of.

After 23 straight plays by the San Francisco 49ers, Aaron Rodgers threw his first touchdown as a Jets quarterback on a 36-yard strike to Allen Lazard for the score with 1:39 remaining in the third quarter. Lazard has now caught two passes for 62 yards overall.

The touchdown came on a free play where Rodgers drew a 49er defender offsides and still found Lazard deep for the score.

Rodgers is now 11-17 passing for 144 yards with one touchdown throw and one interception.

San Francisco still leads 26-13 going into the fourth quarter despite the touchdown from Lazard. For the Jets, they are looking to orchestrate a fourth-quarter comeback thanks to the arm talent of Rodgers.

At least the Jets have been able to get some offensive highlights on the season opener despite the defense's struggles overall.
