Booker Challenges 'King of New York'?

Although the New York Knicks haven't  traded for Phoenix Suns All-Star Devin Booker, that didn't stop the gold medalist to aid the city with a heartfelt act. In the streets which actively root for All-NBA point guard Jalen Brunson, Booker took the Knicks' team captain's lead with a twist.

New York is known for street basketball, as nearly every block features a basketball court for the community to use. Understanding the heart of New York, Booker did some street team promo by giving out his Booker 1s at the West Fourth Street courts.

The Suns' star looked right at home traversing the area, as he greeted fans and took pictures. However, his mission was clear: give out the Booker 1s to both men and children.

While Brunson's postseason efforts in addition to his contractual sacrifice in which he left over $110 million on the table made for great talking points, Booker's personal touch brings a smile to people's faces.

Brunson and Knicks teammate Josh Hart recently hosted a block party at Central Park, as part of the Roommates Show podcast, providing great vibes and community connection to the streets of New York.

Although ESPN's Stephen A. Smith figured Booker as a fit in New York,  the Knicks seem content with their team, as they were one win away from the Eastern Conference Finals.

Perhaps with a healthy Julius Randle they can finally reach the lengths of the 1990s Knicks.

The next question is, when will the "King of New York" Brunson receive a shoe deal to hand out kicks in the streets of which adore the Knicks All-Star..
