Joel Klatt has voiced strong criticism of the Associated Press Top 25 college football poll, arguing that the USC Trojans are significantly undervalued.

The FOX Sports analyst believes USC deserves a spot in the top ten after their impressive performances this season.

"You're staring at a USC team that looks like they are for real," Klatt said. "I put them in my Top Ten, and they deserve to be in the Top Ten."

Klatt expressed his frustration during a recent episode of the 'Joel Klatt Show' Monday, highlighting the inconsistency in how AP voters rank teams.

"The AP Voters are terrible. They just move them up and down," Klatt said. "I'm sorry if you have an AP vote and you're listening to this. I love your passion for the sport... give me a break with what you gave us in the AP Poll. That was terrible."

He pointed out that both USC and Tennessee should be recognized among the elite teams in college football.

Currently, USC sits at No. 11 in the AP Poll and the USA Today Coaches Poll, despite having notable victories against LSU and Utah State.

The Trojans are gearing up for a challenging schedule, including a matchup against No. 17 Michigan after a bye week.

They will face several ranked opponents, which could provide opportunities to improve their ranking. The Big Ten conference remains competitive, with multiple teams in the top rankings, while the SEC leads with eight teams represented.

USC's quarterback, Miller Moss, is also gaining attention as a potential Heisman candidate, having already passed for over 600 yards in just two games.

With the Trojans' strong start and upcoming challenges, they have a chance to solidify their place among the top teams in college football.
