Tyreek Hill's teammate is sticking up for him after police released body cam video of the wide receiver's controversial detainment on Sunday.

Hill was stopped by police outside Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday morning, with a video showing an officer growing upset when Hill would not keep his window rolled down. The Dolphins receiver was taken out of his car, handcuffed, and brought to the ground as he argued with officers.

The Miami-Dade police released a body cam video of the incident on Monday, which led to strong criticism from the officers involved. Dolphins teammate Jalen Ramsey also sounded off, resharing the video with a strong message for the police department.

"FIRE EM IMMEDIATELY!" Ramsey wrote of the officers seen in the video.

The Dolphins' defensive back then used an abbreviated expletive to describe the officers, saying police "like them can’t have no type of power; they gotta go!"

The Dolphins organization also issued an official statement backing Hill and urging that action be taken against the officers.

"We are proud to have a strong and positive relationship with the Miami-Dade Police Department and other law enforcement agencies and recognize that the vast majority of officers do serve the community with the utmost character and desire to protect all citizens," the statement read. "However, as is on full display in the videos released tonight, there are some officers who mistake their responsibility and commitment to serve with misguided power. While we commend MDPD for taking the right and necessary action to quickly release this footage, we also urge them to take equally swift and strong action against the officers who engaged in such despicable behavior."

Hill was issued a citation for careless driving and seatbelt violation.

The Dade County Commission loves the cops and firefighters. The County helped pay for that stadium. i.hope the county forecloses on that deal and makes the dolphins pay back the tax dollars they used to help rebuild that stadium
