Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was unavailable for Monday's practice session due to continued "soreness" following the team's Week 1 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs this past Thursday.

Jackson is expected to return to practice on Wednesday as the Ravens prepare for a Week 2 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.

The Ravens called on Jackson to do just about everything in their 20-27 loss to the reigning Super Bowl champions at Arrowhead Stadium. In addition to his 273 passing yards, the NFL's reigning MVP also had 16 rush attempts for 122 yards.

While Jackson's dual-threat ability is what makes him so special, some fans are concerned that he's taking too much of a beating in the run game. Many are criticizing head coach John Harbaugh for his usage of the superstar QB.

"Hey John… if you 'realize' how much it means to him, why don’t you help him out? Maybe give [Derrick] Henry a normal load and get some freaking receivers.! You are the problem!" one fan wrote.

"It’s to bad Baltimore fails to get him actual offensive talent. Every game he has to do heroics just for us to win," another said.

"Then he should stop putting so much on his shoulders," another added.

"If he continues to not use Henry enough, Lamar will be injured and the season will go to [expletive]," another wrote.

The Ravens will welcome the visiting Raiders for their home opener at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday.
