Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark made history yet again on Tuesday, September 10, after being named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the third time in a row. Unsurprisingly, the 22-year-old had social media buzzing after her latest accomplishment, with fans, friends and pundits alike sending their congratulatory messages for the All-Star guard.

One of the funniest shoutouts for Caitlin came from renowned sports photographer Bri Lewerke, who has become Clark's friend throughout the time she has been covering the Fever star since her days with Iowa.

Lewerke shared a hilarious snap of Clark getting hit on the face with a basketball as the photographer congratulated Caitlin for her amazing accomplishment.

The post quickly went viral, amassing more than 5,000 likes within three hours of posting (as of writing). It got tons of comments, too, including one from Clark herself, who decided to bluntly call out her friend with a one-wordd comment.

    "Troll," Caitlin wrote.

Lewerke responded to Clark's jab by jokingly clapping back with her own counterpunch. "takes one to know one," Lewerke wrote.

This is nothing more than playful banter between two friends whose relationship has blossomed through the years. The fact that they can call each other out on social media like this is a testament to the type of friendship they share.

Whatever the case may be, there's no denying that this is another amazing individual feat from the rookie sensation. Clark took home Player of the Week honors behind averages of 25.0 points, 10.0 assists and 7.7 rebounds per game. She also led the Fever to a 2-1 record during this stretch.
