Simone Biles had more than a few big-name spectators during her highly successful stint in the 2024 Paris Olympics. At the end of the day, however, it's hard to deny that for Simone, the most important people who came out to support her would be her family.

Her mom, dad and sister all made their way to Paris to offer their unwavering support to Biles, who was taking part in her third Summer Games. Her husband, Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens also made the trip. This is after the Bears gave him permission to skip a significant part of training camp in order to watch his wife perform in Paris.

In a recent podcast interview, Owens relived his amazing experience in the French capital. Apart from enjoying the sights and sounds of the iconic European city, as well as doing a bit of luxury shopping, Owens revealed that one of his most memorable moments during his trip was, of course, being able to take in the atmosphere of the gymnastics finals at the Bercy Arena.

Owens shared that he was amazed by the diversity of the crowd, in terms of the different nations that were supporting their respective athletes. In fact, the Bears safety was seated right behind the Brazilian contingent, who were cheering their hearts out for one of Biles' biggest rivals, Rebecca Andrade.

Naturally, Owens responded by rallying behind Biles and the rest of Team USA. It was at that point that the NFL stud came to realize the amazing position he found himself in.

"Competition is universal so everybody understands the stakes are high," he said on the " INTERCEPTED with Kevin Byard " podcast. "... Most of the people [were] there to see my wife. It'd be crazy moments like that to where I just sit back and like, 'Man, look where God had put me.'"

The icing on top of the cake was that Owens witnessed his wife bag a gold medal -- twice. Owens arrived in Paris just in time for the team all-around final, and he was also in attendance for the individual all-around final. However, the 29-year-old had to return to Chicago for training camp and was not able to watch Simone win her third and final gold medal in the vault final.

Either way, what is clear is that Owens truly enjoyed his experience in Paris supporting his wife. After all, not everyone is able to say that their partner is a decorated Olympian -- and one of the most dominant ones, at that.
