Look On Storm Coach's Face During Caitlin Clark Triple Says It All

Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark has taken the WNBA by storm with her stellar play in her rookie season.

Since being drafted No. 1 overall in April, she has helped elevate women’s basketball to new heights. In fact, the buzz around her has grown so much that some teams are moving their home games to NBA arenas just to fit the massive crowds wanting to watch her.

Even as a newcomer to the league, Clark is leading the WNBA in assists, averaging 8.5 per game. She also has three Rookie of the Month awards and was the first-ever rookie to win Player of the Month after claiming the honor for August.

Who wouldn't want a player like that on their team? Even coaches on other teams have been visibly frustrated playing against her.

In a recent game against the Seattle Storm, a three-pointer from Clark was captured on camera. What stood out in the photo, however, was the background showing Storm head coach Noelle Quinn leaning on the scorers’ table with a look of pure despair.

Clark is also the favorite for Rookie of the Year, which will be announced in the next few weeks. She was in a close race with Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese, but Reese’s season ended early with a wrist injury.

In addition to Clark's league-leading 8.5 assists per game, she's also averaging 19.2 points and 5.8 rebounds.

Clark and the Fever will next be in action on Wednesday, September 11, against the Las Vegas Aces.

Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET.
