The Buffalo Bills were already decimated on the injury front going into the regular season.

Now, they have become even more so.

Close to a month after the team lost All-Pro linebacker Matt Milano for the year due to a torn biceps, the Bills are now ruling out another All-Pro target on the defensive side before a key AFC East showdown.

Slot cornerback Taron Johnson and veteran edge rusher Dawuane Smoot were both listed as OUT for Thursday night's clash against the Miami Dolphins by Bills coach Sean McDermott on WGR550.

Johnson suffered a forearm injury during the Bills’ first defensive series in their Week 1 win over the Arizona Cardinals and did not return after playing on just seven snaps.

Smoot missed Buffalo’s Week 1 clash with a toe injury and will miss a second straight game.

The short week played a key role in both players not being able to suit up for the Bills going into Week 2. It certainly won't help the fact that Buffalo is playing a Dolphins roster considered one of the top offenses in football.

Buffalo’s injury report also included Josh Allen (hand), Ty Johnson (knee), Quintin Morris (shoulder), and Mitchell Trubisky (knee) this week, but all four have been cleared to suit up.
