College Football Powerhouse Under Fire for Practice Shenanigans Amid 0-2 Start

The Florida State Seminoles came into the college football season as frontrunners to win the ACC, but have found themselves winless through their first two games.

With the pressure on the team and coaches to figure out a way to turn things around, a video with nearly three million views of their recent practice doesn't have fans feeling confident.

As seen behind quarterback DJ Uiagalelei, a player is running while being chased with a water gun by who appears to be a coach.

The video has led many fans to mock the team and question if they are taking their struggles seriously.

"And yall had this team picked to go to the playoffs," wrote one fan.

"not the Super Soaker," added another.

"them boys 0-2 playing with water guns," commented one fan.

"10% chance of rain at game time yet they’re preparing for it. Meanwhile there’s a 100% chance Memphis is going to ram the ball down their throats, which they clearly aren’t prepared for," chimed in another.

While it does seem unusual to bust out the water guns at practice, they are typically used to prepare for rain or simply to maintain focus as a punt returner. Even if it isn't raining in Tallahassee on Saturday, which the forecast isn't calling for, humidity is always a factor in the Sunshine State.

However, it isn't shocking to see fans overreact to this, especially since the forecast calls for a scorcher.

It also doesn't help that the Seminoles looked pitiful in their first two games, and are playing arguably the best Group of Five team this weekend. They will welcome the Memphis Tigers to town, and there is a real chance that the Seminoles will fall to 0-3 on the year.

After opening as double-digit favorites in their first two games and losing, Florida State comes in as a 6.5-point favorite against the Tigers. Only time will tell if the super soaker method at practice will help lead to a win, or if it will lead to another viral moment.
