Paul Finebaum Names One College Football Powerhouse Who Looks 'Flawless'

ESPN college football analyst Paul Finebaum has been known for his SEC expertise for years. He recently joined the " Always College Football " podcast with Greg McElroy, sharing his knowledge on the strongest conference in college football.

The SEC currently holds six of the top seven spots in the recent AP Poll.

While Finebaum explained that there have been a few teams that look levels above the rest, like the No. 2 Texas Longhorns and No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs, he shared an interesting comment on another powerhouse.

Finebaum hasn't chosen who the third-best team in the SEC is quite yet. Through the first few weeks of the season, it looks to be the Ole Miss Rebels, but he explained that he doesn't know if they're national title contenders or not.

Despite the questions around the Rebels, Finebaum thinks Ole Miss has looked "flawless" so far.

"The school I can't make up mind if they're going to play for the title or disappoint us, is Ole Miss," Finebaum said. "They look really flawless right now. I think I would take them as my third team [in the SEC]."

The Ole Miss Rebels have looked incredible this season, but their strength of schedule hasn't been at the upper echelon.

They began the season with a 76-0 victory over Furman. Following the Week 1 win, they took on Middle Tennessee at home in Week 2 and picked up another dominant 52-3 victory.

Ole Miss is currently ranked as the No. 5 team in the nation. They won't run into a ranked opponent until Oct. 12 against the No. 16 LSU Tigers. Upon that matchup, the real season begins for the Rebels.

They'll also face the No. 15 Oklahoma Sooners and No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs later this season.

The Rebels may not have played a conference opponent just yet, but Paul Finebaum believes right now, Ole Miss looks "flawless"
