The Colorado Buffaloes' performance in Week 2 against their former Big 12 North rival, the Nebraska Cornhuskers, was disappointing.

The Cornhuskers completely controlled the game, securing a 14-0 lead with about six minutes remaining in the 1st quarter and ultimately winning with a score of 28-10. This was a significant game for both schools as they are both aiming to build something special.

Last year, Colorado dominated the game, but this season, the Cornhuskers got their revenge. ESPN's Paul Finebaum appeared on "First Take" and blamed head coach Deion Sanders for the loss. He said Sanders promised a lot of change, but the team seems to have remained the same as last season so far.

"I think the bigger story than coming down on Shedeur is his father," Finebaum said. "What kind of programs is Deion Sanders running at Colorado? He promised all of the changes this year. He got mad at everyone who dared to criticize, and it's the same team."

Finebaum believes Colorado is not as strong as last season when they had a 4-8 record. He expressed concern about quarterback Shedeur Sanders, who was sacked frequently last season and has already been under a lot of pressure this season. With six more sacks in the latest game, Finebaum doubts that Shedeur will be able to withstand the hits if this trend continues.

Finebaum concludes by saying he feels Sanders will "bow out" and is already looking for a way out once this season ends.
