Texas' impressive on-field product this season has caught the attention of many recruits across the country.

Shortly after dominating No. 10 Michigan in Ann Arbor, the Longhorns flipped Florida State commit defensive lineman Myron Charles. Now, Texas could flip another rising player at the same position.

Three-star defensive lineman Joseph Mbatchou committed to the Florida Gators on July 31. The Georgia native is ranked the No. 44 defensive lineman and No. 47 overall prospect in the state, according to 247Sports.

Mbatchou has received several offers from other prominent programs including Auburn, South Carolina, Georgia, USC, Tennessee and LSU.

On Wednesday, Inside Texas' Justin Wells reported Mbatchou will visit Austin on Saturday for the Longhorns Week 3 matchup against UTSA.

Texas currently holds the No. 6 class in the nation per 247Sports. The group is headlined by five-star safety Jonah Williams and five-star wide receivers Kaliq Lockett and Jaime Ffrench.
