Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark was named WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the third-straight week. Averaging 25 points, 10 assists, and 7.7 rebounds from September 2-8, Clark took home this impressive honor again.

The Fever won two of their three games in Clark's Player of the Week stretch, defeating the Los Angeles Sparks and Atlanta Dream while losing to the Minnesota Lynx. Clark's 10 assists per game led the WNBA in this stretch.

Riding this impressive week into a major showdown against the Las Vegas Aces on Wednesday, Clark and the Fever prepared for a battle against MVP frontrunner A'ja Wilson.

Making WNBA history in the first half of this game against Las Vegas, Clark reached 700 career points. According to StatMamba on X , Only 1.8% of all players in WNBA history have reached this points total in a single season.

Also with over 300 assists on the season, Clark is the first player in WNBA history with at least 700 points and 300 assists in a season ( via Basketball Reference's StatHead ).

Clark has reached the point of her rookie season when many of her statistical records no longer have a first-year player qualification. The first rookie in WNBA history to many milestones, Clark is also the first player in league history to many others.

The frontrunner for WNBA Rookie of the Year, Clark is now making a bid for All-WNBA first team honors.

In addition to Clark's impressive individual play, Indiana has clinched their first playoff appearance since 2016. Preparing for her first WNBA postseason appearance, Clark is looking to help Indiana maximize their seeding in the remaining regular season games.

The Fever entered Wednesday's game against Las Vegas in sole possession of the WNBA's sixth seed.
