It was an evening to remember for superstar A'ja Wilson after leading the Las Vegas Aces to a huge win over the Indiana Fever on Sept. 11, while also becoming the WNBA’s single-season scoring leader.

Wilson surpassed Seattle Storm guard Jewell Loyd’s 939 points from last season with a jump shot in the dying seconds of the second quarter. The Aces forward finished with 27 points to hike her current total to 956 points. She also added 12 rebounds, two steals and three blocks in another virtuosic performance.

The cheers poured for the 28-year-old Wilson, with Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James leading the pack of well-wishers.

Of course, Wilson's teammates likewise congratulated her for the latest milestone. Aces center Megan Gustafson shared on her Instagram Story a graphic of Wilson and added the perfect flex.

"Top tier and it's not close!" Gustafson wrote in the caption.

Even though Gustafson, who signed with the Aces in February 2024, has played behind Wilson all season, she still expressed her full support.

A two-time MVP, Wilson leads the league in scoring this season with a career-high 27.3 points per outing on an efficient 52.1% shooting from the floor.

With still four games left for the 23-13 Aces, she has a strong chance to become the first-ever player in WNBA history to amass 1,000 points in a season.
