Angel Reese may be on the sideline, working through rehabilitation after her recent wrist surgery , but the WNBA All-Star has been active on social media.

In her first year in the league, Reese has turned into a star. The Chicago Sky have struggled as of late, losing eight of their last 10 games, but Reese was a huge bright spot for head coach Teresa Weatherspoon all season.

Being the young player that she is, thriving to be on the top of the WNBA's podium, Reese is witnessing one of the greatest to ever play the game.

During Reese's Rookie of the Year campaign, there's been a player out West that's making a case for the best season in WNBA history.

Las Vegas Aces star A'ja Wilson has left fans marveling over her talent throughout the WNBA season. The two-time MVP recently made WNBA history, scoring the most points in a single season, passing Seattle Storm guard Jewell Loyd.

Following this historic feat for Wilson, Angel Reese took to social media, where she has over 604k followers on X.

Reese congratulated Wilson and declared the Aces star as her "favorite player."

Wilson has been dominant all season for the Aces.

She's currently averaging 27.3 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks per game. As Las Vegas looks to secure their third straight WNBA title, Wilson has willed them to the No. 4 seed in the league with a 23-13 record.

With her averages, Wilson is No. 1 in the WNBA in average points, No. 1 in average blocks, and No. 2 in average rebounds.

The only person that leads Wilson in average rebounds is none other than rookie, Angel Reese.

Chicago's young star has averaged 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds per game. She leads the league in average rebounds and is the only rookie averaging a double-double.

Before her season-ending injury, Reese also served as the Sky's most consistent starter. She played from the tip-off in all 34 games the rookie was active.
