The New York Knicks are looking be one of the top seeds in the Eastern Conference once again this season, and their two star defensive wings will be a huge part of them being able to do that.

In a recent article by HoopsHype , they rank who they believe are the top 100 players in the NBA. Jalen Brunson and Julius Randle are obviously the two highest-ranked Knicks on the list, and Mikal Bridges is their next highest at No. 56.

"The Bridges pickup might be the final piece of the championship puzzle for New York, especially considering he’ll be sharing the wing with the next player on our list, giving the Knicks two almost-elite forwards," HoopsHype writes.

Bridges took on a huge role in his time with the Brooklyn Nets, as he averaged 20 points per game as the first option. This season, he will take a backseat to Brunson and Randle, which he is more than comfortable doing.

The next Knick on the list is OG Anunoby, and he is just one spot back from his new teammate at No. 57.

"Bridges’ partner on the wing next season will be another star role player in OG Anunoby, one of the best defensive wings in the league when healthy and a very solid offensive player who can space the floor from three and slash to the cup for athletic finishes," HoopsHype writes.

If Anunoby can stay healthy and stay on the floor this season, he and Bridges could be the best defensive duo in the NBA, therefore proving they should be higher in this ranking.
