Cameras Reveal Shilo Sanders’ Untimely Trash Talk to Nebraska Players Before Blowout Loss

Colorado Buffaloes saftey Shilo Sanders exited the Week 2 matchup against the Nebraska in the first quarter after injuring his forearm while tackling Huskers tailback Dante Dowdell.

The Buffaloes were ultimately outmatched in decisive fashion by Nebraska and true freshman quarterback Dylan Raiola, a 28-10 win in Lincoln.

But that outcome came after some confident trash talk from Sanders and Colorado players during the coin toss. Thanks to a recap video from Nebraska, we have an inside look at what was said when the captains met at midfield before kickoff.

“We about to roll your as**s,” Sanders said . “Boy, you know we about to roll you bruh.”

Sanders is expected to miss 2-3 weeks recovering from surgery for the injury. Shilo's father and Colorado head coach, Deion Sanders, noted his son's fast "healing ability."

Sanders has totaled 11 tackles with a tackle for loss through two games this season. The senior will be missed in a defense that has struggled mightily to stop opposing offenses, allowing 391.5 yards per game on average (97th in the nation).

Colorado will face a tough test in Week 3 with a visit to in-state rival Colorado State. The Buffaloes narrowly edged the Rams last season in a overtime affair. And there won't be much time for Deion Sanders and company to rest with upcoming conference matchups against Baylor (Sept. 21) and UCF (Sept. 28).
