The American League East rivals meet with just a few weeks remaining in the regular season. Both teams are still looking to solidify their push towards October baseball.

The Yankees hold a 1.5-game lead over the Baltimore Orioles for the division lead. The team’s 84-62 is tied for the best record in the AL with the Cleveland Guardians.
