After a Week 2 filled with fantastic college football around the country, fans are hopeful that Week 3 will be able to match the excitement.

One of the best parts of college football is ESPN's "College GameDay," which is set to be on-site for the matchup between the No. 16 LSU Tigers and the South Carolina Gamecocks. The beloved crew will be heading down to Columbia, South Carolina for the game, and on Thursday the highly anticipated wait for the reveal of the celebrity guest picker ended.

"College GameDay' announced via a post on the app formerly known as Twitter that it would be legendary women's basketball coach Dawn Staley. The three-time champion coach also posted a video thanking fans for all of their support in choosing her to be the celebrity guest picker.

Staley is fresh off a season that saw her be named the AP Coach of the Year for the third year in a row, win her eighth SEC tournament and lead the Gamecocks to their third title since 2017. Her squad is expected to be among the best again this upcoming season, as ESPN had them as their No. 1 team in their early preseason top 25.

The Gamecocks are looking to build off of a blowout win over Kentucky, while LSU is looking to get a winning streak going after securing their first win of the year against Nicholls.

According to ESPN , the Tigers are touchdown favorites and have a 51.3% chance of winning.
