The New York Giants opened their season with a disappointing 28-6 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, and no player has felt the sting more than quarterback Daniel Jones. The Vikings' defense was relentless, and the pressure they applied left Jones struggling throughout the game.

Vikings outside linebacker Jonathan Greenard, speaking on KFAN’s “Power Trip Morning Show,” revealed just how dominant the Vikings were, admitting that his team “started to feel a little bit bad” for Jones due to the relentless pressure they brought.

“We kind of started to feel a little bit bad for him as we’re still just completely taking away everything he wants to do,” Greenard said. “Hey, it’s good to be on the other side of it, and it’s our job to not be on that side.”

Jones' performance was marred by two interceptions, including a pick-six, and he completed just 22 of 42 passes for 186 yards. The Giants' offense managed only 240 total yards and failed to score a touchdown, leaving fans frustrated and questioning whether Jones can lead this team back to success.

Despite the criticism, Jones remains determined to turn things around as the Giants prepare for their Week 2 matchup against the Washington Commanders. With fans and critics alike voicing their doubts, the pressure is on Jones to deliver a stronger performance and prove he can be the quarterback the Giants need .

“Fans – they're upset and frustrated, and we're frustrated too,” said Jones. “I understand that. I'm not easily offended. I understand how it works and know I've got to play better, we've all got to play better.”
