South Carolina Gamecocks will face off against the LSU Tigers as ESPN's "College GameDay" visits South Carolina for the first time in 10 years.

This game features a ranked LSU team facing a South Carolina team that just secured a significant victory in Week 2 by defeating Kentucky 31-6 on the road. Despite this win, some fans expressed their disappointment on social media about the flagship show not being held at a different location.

One fan tweeted at ESPN "College GameDay," and two of its on-air talents, Rece Davis and Kirk Herbstreit, said, "Are we really supposed to believe that LSU vs South Carolina is the best game this week? All those undefeated teams out there, and you go to an SEC no-nothing game? Lost all respect. Ranked vs. ranked like Arizona vs. KSU is not good enough? SMH."

Davis replied and let her know that the Arizona vs. Kansas State game was being played on Friday night, the day before the show. That led Herbstreit to say, "Whoops, Susan!" with three laughing emojis.

However, it didn't stop there. Another fan asked Herbstreit why he wasn't on the call for the Georgia vs. Kentucky game on ABC at night like he normally is. Herbstreit told them that he would have been if Kentucky had won last week's game against South Carolina.

"Because Kentucky spit the bit last week," Herbstreit tweeted. "College GameDay" was a lock for Kentucky if the Cats won last week, and we would have called the game as well. But South Carolina dominating that game we always adjust to the results from the previous week."

While some clearly don't agree with where "College GameDay" is headed this week, it should prove to be a good matchup between two SEC schools. Herbstreit and Pat McAfee, one of the other "College GameDay" analysts, are excited about it .

On ESPN, you can watch the Saturday morning staple live in South Carolina from 9 a.m.-noon ET.
