Tom Brady's NFL Rankings Ignite Major Debate Over Dallas Cowboys' Surprising Placement

Week 1 of the 2024 NFL season is officially in the books, and it's safe to say that some teams made a good first impression, while others showed some concerning red flags.

Tom Brady got a great view of the Dallas Cowboys win over the Cleveland Browns, as he was working his first game for Fox as a color commentator alongside Kevin Burkhardt.

When Brady released his NFL Week 2 power rankings on Thursday, though, fans were quick to call out his placement of the Cowboys. Brady revealed who he believes are the top five teams in the league right now, and he placed Dallas at four, which quickly drew the ire of fans on social media.

While the Cowboys did manage to pick up a resounding 33-17 win over the Browns, it was largely due to a rash of mistakes Cleveland made, rather than anything spectacular Dallas did.

Fans were quick to point out teams like the Philadelphia Eagles and Buffalo Bills were snubbed, with some even saying the Baltimore Ravens deserved a spot in the top five over Dallas, despite the fact they lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 1.

Brady's power rankings are undoubtedly a bit controversial, and it will be interesting to see if the Cowboys manage to hold onto their top five spot once Week 2 is over.
