Shannon Sharpe has been trending for all the wrong reasons lately, as he ended up accidentally live streaming audio of him having sex to his 3.2 million followers on Wednesday.

Sharpe initially claimed he was hacked, but he ended up admitting that he was responsible for the mistake, which caused a storm on the internet.

Fans were curious if Sharpe would face repercussions from ESPN for his actions, but it was reported on Thursday that ESPN was not going to discipline him for this slip up. Once that news came out, though, fans were all saying the same thing about Paul Pierce on social media.

For fans who don't remember, Pierce was fired from ESPN back in 2021 after he had an Instagram live session at a poker game where he showed several women wearing bikinis in the background while he was drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana.

Many folks figured Sharpe would face the same fate as Pierce with ESPN, but as it turns out, that won't be happening, which certainly surprised a lot of people.

Fans will likely continue questioning ESPN's decision with Sharpe, but for the time being, it looks like he won't get fired, although he will certainly be on thin ice moving forward.
