Emery Jones says LSU is ready to ‘fight and claw’ in Columbia

Emery Jones talked about the need to get LSU’s running game going and what he expects this Saturday against the Gamecocks.

Are you disappointed in the rushing game so far?

Emery: Yeah, I feel like we all are. I feel like we are going to have to do everything we can in our power to make sure that run game gets going.

When you go on the road to South Carolina, they look like they have a nasty defense and you’re going to have to get some rushing yards. Is that the way you feel?

Emery: I feel like we are going into it ready to fight and claw to get those rushing yards. I know the rushing yards have been down but I feel like every guy in that room knows what the problem is and we’re addressing it day by day and getting 1% better at it. That being said, we all kind of feel that way but if you’re winning games in a different way, you’re stuck winning games.
