The Miami Dolphins had a disastrous evening on Thursday night, suffering a blowout loss to the division-rival Buffalo Bills at home.

After throwing three interceptions, Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa took a blow to the head from Bills defensive back Damar Hamlin. Tagovailoa was helped back into the locker room and ruled out for the remainder of the game as Miami placed him under concussion protocol.

Trailing the Bills 31-10 in the fourth quarter, Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel elected to bench star wide receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.

Hill and Waddle looked absolutely dejected on the sideline, sitting on the bench with seemingly little interest in the Dolphins' ongoing offensive drive.

Amazon Prime Video's lead Thursday Night Football analyst Kirk Herbstreit called out both Hill and Waddle for their lack of involvement in the blowout contest.

Several NFL fans took to social media to react to this callout from Herbstreit.

"Kirk Herbstreit is so annoying. He must think he’s calling a college blowout because getting on Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle for not standing and watching the Dolphins ship sink is unreal. Something Urban Meyer would have cared about while coaching the Jaguars," one fan wrote.

"There’s no way Kirk Herbstreit is complaining about Tyreek and Waddle sitting on the bench in a blowout after being pulled, right?" another asked.

"Kirk Herbstreit is reaching to fill air time. He was trying to paint Waddle and Tyreek Hill in a negative light for sitting out while Miami is down their starting QB, getting beat by 21 points with 5 minutes left. Shut the hell up and stick to college ball, Kirk," another added.
