Taylor Swift Reportedly Gave Travis Kelce a Warning Before NFL Season Started

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his girlfriend Taylor Swift have been all over social media for their frequent public appearances together over the last week including a dinner date in New York City, attending a wedding the next day and the U.S. Open Tennis Championships the day after that.

Kelce has a reputation for oversharing and sometimes having no filter, and for that very reason, Swift reportedly warned him before the 2024 NFL season started about having discretion when talking about their relationship, a source reportedly told Mike Hammer of Life & Style.

“Travis loves to show Taylor off,” the source said . “She appreciates it but she’s cautioning him from revealing too much about their private lives. No one thought they’d last this long, and Taylor and Travis are very happy to prove the doubters wrong.”

Swift attended most of Kelce’s game last season after they started dating, and she made an appearance at Thursday’s season-opening win over the Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium, joining his parents in a suite.

Swift will resume her Eras Tour in Oct. 18 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, and she purportedly plans to fly back to attend Chiefs home games when she’s not playing shows.

Kansas City has two more home games — Sept. 15 against the Cincinnati Bengals (Week 2) and Oct. 7 against the New Orleans Saints (Oct. 7) — before Swift’s tour restarts.

Kelce and Swift began dating last year after he admitted on his “New Heights” podcast that he attended one of her concerts at Arrowhead but missed a chance to meet up with her in-person to give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it.
