A New Challenge Awaits Oregon in Matchup with Oregon State

The Oregon football team will be tasked with a new challenge when it travels takes on Oregon State on this Saturday.

For the first time since 2018, the Ducks will play in front of a sold out crowd at Reser Stadium, as the facility was undergoing large renovations the last time the two teams met in Corvallis.

During that 2022 matchup, the Beavers erased a 31-10 deficit on their way to trouncing Oregon 38-34 in front of a much-less-than-capacity crowd.

To be exact, 28,840 fans witnessed Oregon State pick up its second win over the Ducks in three seasons.

In 2024, the listed capacity of Reser Stadium is 35,548, which should make for a tougher environment than Oregon faced in 2022.

Additionally, the rivalry matchup will be the Ducks’ first road game of the season.

Oregon and Oregon State will be in action on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 12:30 p.m. PST.
