After being defeated by the Nebraska Cornhuskers in a blowout loss last Saturday, there might not be a team more eager to return to the field than the Colorado Buffaloes.

Colorado was dominated in the game from start to finish, falling behind 28-0 at halftime and ultimately losing 28-10. ESPN's Paul Finebaum has been very critical of head coach Deion Sanders and Colorado this offseason. That loss has not done anything to quiet him.

Finebaum stated that although Sanders excels with the media, he's not an effective coach, and he sees no team improvement so far this season.

"He's really brilliant with the media," Finebaum said. "I'm not sure he's brilliant as a head coach. I don't see any improvement from this team, and instead of talking about the CFP, which we were maybe a couple of weeks ago, now we are talking about a way whether Colorado can get to a bowl game."

Finebaum said he believes Colorado is on the verge of falling apart. He concluded by stating that he believes Sanders will eventually realize he needs to leave Colorado, which, Finebaum admitted, needs him more than he needs them.

Colorado will face in-state rival Colorado State on Saturday, Sept. 14, at 7:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
