Actress Hailee Steinfeld and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen first started dating in May 2023. While the couple kept their relationship out the spotlight for over a year, Steinfeld and Allen are no longer shy about their love.

While the Oscar-nominated actress hasn't posted a photo of Allen on her Instagram page, where she has over 20 million followers, and played coy when it came to directly answering questions about her boyfriend last season, Steinfeld opened up about what it's like dating the Bills star in her newsletter, Beau Society on September 13.

She dubbed Issue No. 6, "Bills Society," and shared a photo of herself rocking team's gear for the first time. In the newsletter, Steinfeld broke her silence on what it's like watching Allen play and being a part of the Buffalo community.

"Hi. Okay, so the rumors are true," she wrote. "Football season is back which means a few things. A) I get to watch my favorite person continue to make NFL history every week (go off 17)," referring to Allen's jersey number.

"B) We’re just a few weeks away from drastic temperature drops (California girl speaking) where you’ll find me drinking hot chocolate bundled in vintage Bills gear."

In the newsletter, Steinfeld, 27, interviewed the co-owners of Queen City Vintage, a boutique store in Buffalo, and gushed over her boyfriend's performance during the Bills' 34-28 win over Arizona Cardinals in Week 1. During the matchup, Allen recorded his fourth game with at least two touchdown passes and two rushing scores, tying with Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Steve Young's record for the most such games in NFL history.

"I had this whole vintage fashion issue written up before Sunday’s home opener, but I spent most of the game thinking about 1) how lucky I am to get a front-row seat to the magic that is JA17, the entire Bills team and the stadium energy. 2) The people who make up Bills Mafia are second to none."

Steinfeld, who spent the bulk of last season in Buffalo due to SAG-AFTRA strike, embraced the local community.

"To witness the most dedicated, kind and... enthusiastic people, of all ages.. [who] show up to support the Bills no matter the conditions and no matter the outcome is extraordinary."
