The Alabama Crimson Tide have the biggest game of their non-conference schedule set for this weekend against the Wisconsin Badgers, and they're getting one of their very best players back just in time.

On Friday afternoon, it was reported by On3's Matt Zenitz that left tackle Kadyn Proctor would make his 2024 season debut after sitting out the first two games of the year with a shoulder injury.

As a true freshman in 2023, Proctor started all 14 games for the Crimson Tide. He struggled at times throughout the year, giving up a total of 12 sacks and 36 quarterback pressures. The talent is certainly there, though, as Proctor was rated by 247Sports as the No. 2 overall player in the 2023 class as a recruit.

It will be good for Alabama fans to see Proctor back on the field this week after what was an incredibly wild offseason for the sophomore. Following the retirement of legendary Alabama coach Nick Saban, Proctor announced his transfer to the Iowa Hawkeyes, back in his home state.

The transfer came as a major hit to new Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer and his staff, but after a few months, Proctor announced that he was going to transfer back to Alabama and rejoin the Crimson Tide for the 2024 season.

Now we get to see him back on the field and wait anxiously to figure out if he can reach his ceiling as an elite pass protector in this big-time game against Wisconsin. Kick-off is scheduled for Saturday afternoon at noon ET on Fox.
