It's not just Caitlin Clark who has been having a remarkable season for the Indiana Fever. The fact that this team booked their spot in the playoffs for the first time since 2018 speaks volumes not only of Clark's strong play but also that of the rest of the squad.

One player who has played an undeniably integral role for Indiana this season is second-year forward/center Aliyah Boston. In the Fever's last game against the Las Vegas Aces on Wednesday, September 11, the 22-year-old made history by setting the franchise record for the most rebounds in a season (338).

What makes this feat even more amazing is the fact that Boston shattered her own record (335), which she set last season as a rookie. She also set a new mark with three more games remaining in the regular season.

This historic feat prompted a strong message from the Fever on X, formerly Twitter.

"a rebounding machine 💪 for the second straight year, Aliyah Boston has set the new franchise record for rebounds in a season with 338 and counting," the Fever wrote.

Boston will further add to her tally on Friday, September 13, when the Fever take on the Aces again at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Indiana lost in their last meeting , 86-75, so you can be sure that Boston and Co. will be out for some revenge come Friday night.

Boston also struggled in Wednesday's defeat (six points on 3-of-10 shooting, 10 rebounds) against WNBA MVP frontrunner A'ja Wilson and the Aces frontcourt, so she will be looking to make a statement in their rematch on Friday.
