The New York Jets are looking to pick up their first win of the 2024 season when they travel to face the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. Heading into the matchup, one Jets star had plenty of great things to say about Tennessee's wide receivers.

Led by offseason signing Calvin Ridley, the Titans receiving corps is also headlined by veterans Deandre Hopkins and Tyler Boyd, as the team looks to build around young quarterback Will Levis.

While speaking to the media on Friday, Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner spoke very highly of the Titans' receivers.

"They have a group of really good receivers that all pose their very own problems," Gardner said. "Calvin Ridley was my favorite receiver in high school when I used to play receiver. They have D-Hop and Treylon Burks and Tyler Boyd and [Nick] Westbrook. They have a ton of weapons around Levis that he can throw too and that can really elevate him."

Gardner has plenty of respect for the guys he'll be matched up with on Sunday.

Despite all of the talent that the Titans have assembled, similarly to the Jets, they struggled to produce in Week 1 as they failed to score any points in the second half and lost to the Chicago Bears, 24-17, without the Bears' offense having to score any touchdowns.

Both teams will now look to turn things around for themselves in Week 2 as they try to compete in the competitive AFC.

The Jets and the Titans will face off at 1 P.M. EST on Sunday.
