ESPN's Chiefs-Bengals Prediction Graphic Draws Wild Reactions

    By Chris Licata,

The producers of ESPN's "NFL Live" sent the show's hosts into a momentary frenzy on Friday, September 13, after intentionally altering an on-screen prediction graphic.

At the end of Friday's show, the crew made their game picks for the highly anticipated Week 2 matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs (1-0) and Cincinnati Bengals (0-1). Fresh off of a disappointing home loss to the New England Patriots, the Bengals are 6-point underdogs, per Caesars.

As such, all five co-hosts — Laura Rutledge, Ryan Clark, Dan Orlovsky, Mina Kimes and Marcus Spears — predicted the Chiefs to win on Sunday. However, producers decided to have a little fun and flip everyone's picks to the Bengals.

The reactions were equally hilarious and (at times) inaudible.

"Wait, I didn't pick the Bengals," Clark exclaimed.

"That's not right ... somebody is going to screenshot that and I want you guys to know that's not (right)," Kimes could be heard pleading to viewers.

Kimes later confirmed the trolling, writing on X , "To be clear - this was our graphics department pranking us bc we all picked KC lol."

On the field, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is 3-1 in his four career matchups against Patrick Mahomes but lost the most recent matchup in the AFC Championship Game in January 2023.

Kickoff is set for 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday from GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.
