Two cornerbacks who are expected to see significant game action against Cleveland are Jarrian Jones and Montaric Brown. Doug Pederson has liked what he’s seen from both of them in practice and spoke glowingly about their progress.

On CB Jarrian Jones’ NFL debut performance

Doug: I thought he played really well. I didn't think there was much hesitation in his play. He did the things he was asked to do. He played physical and what we saw in training camp. To go against somebody like Tyreek [Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill] your first game out in the NFL as a pro, I mean, that's a large task. I thought he did a nice job. I thought Darby [CB Ronald Darby] did a nice job. Again, we've got some things we've got to clean up back there, but overall, the guys played hard and played physical.

On how CB Montaric Brown’s confidence has grown

Doug: Yeah, it's a lot of confidence and I can't say enough good things. He's done a nice job when he's been in there, whether he's started or came in off the bench. Gets an opportunity this week to play a lot and just continues to grow as a young player.
