Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever can't seem to crack the code against the Las Vegas Aces. Indiana went into Friday's matchup against Las Vegas down 0-3 in the season series.

As the Fever were struggling against the Aces in their Friday night matchup, Clark added salt to the wound and picked up a technical foul in the contest. She now has six technical fouls on the season, meaning she's one technical penalty away from being suspended by the WNBA for one game.

After she picked up the technical foul in the first half, all eyes were on Fever coach Christie Sides.

WNBA fans were furious that Sides didn't intervene to speak with the referees. They believe Sides needs to be more vocal and stick up for her players.

"Christie sides does not get mad enough," said one fan.

"Christie Sides has to stick up for players.. this is ridiculous," said another fan.

"Christie Sides has to stick up for players.. this is wild," commented another fan.

"Just a friendly reminder that the #IndianaFever team has gotten technicals when Christie Sides didn’t stand up for her players." mentioned one fan.

"Christie Sides…I need you to get a tech," said another fan. "Please fight for these players. Also, Kate Martin, break rank and talk to your bestie - she needs you."

Earlier in the year, Sides spoke with the media about Clark's technical foul issues. She mentioned that she should be the one receiving the technical fouls so the players don't carry that burden.

"We're spending too much time talking to the officials," Sides said. "We got to leave that alone... We shouldn't get technicals. Let me get the technicals. Let me go after the officials."

Despite her comment, Sides has been quiet on the sideline, according to fans.

There may be dealing with some trouble with Clark's technical fouls as of late, but aside from that bump on the road, the Fever has been quite successful.

Prior to this match, Indiana has won seven of their last 10 games, helping them clinch the WNBA playoffs. They currently hold the No. 6 seed in the WNBA standings with a 19-18 record.
