Alabama Legend Issues 3-Word Warning to Crimson Tide Ahead of Wisconsin Clash

If Alabama wants to move to 3-0 on Saturday, they must "clean it up."

The Crimson Tide head to Wisconsin for the toughest test of the season so far. Alabama rolled over Western Kentucky 63-0 in their opener but struggled against South Florida in a game much closer than the 42-16 final score.

The Tide entered the fourth quarter with just a 14-13 lead before reeling off 28 points in the fourth quarter. Alabama had 120 yards of penalties and three turnovers, triggering a harsh message from Mark Ingram.

“Clean it up,” Ingram said on Friday . “They’ve got to clean it up, man. Thirteen penalties for 120 yards, took three touchdowns off the board. Before you learn how to win, you must learn what keeps you from getting beat.

“And turning the ball over, having penalties will get you beat – especially in this rugged schedule that they have. So they had three turnovers lost. Talked to coach DeBoer this week and that’s been the point of emphasis all week long. Take care of the football on offense and turn the ball over on defense. That will be a challenge for Alabama tomorrow.”

Ingram played three seasons at Alabama from 2008-10, rushing for 3,261 yards and 42. He spent 12 seasons in the NFL and is now a college football analyst with Fox.

Alabama is a hefty 16.5-point road favorite for the matchup against Wisconsin, per ESPN BET .
