Yale (18), the Alabama Crimson Tide (16), Princeton (15), Notre Dame Fighting Irish (13), and Michigan Wolverines (10) are inside the top 10 for most national titles in college football history. However, things did not go according to plan for Michigan in Week 3.

The Texas Longhorns entered "The Big House" and emerged victorious in Week 2, winning 31-12 over Michigan. Texas handed Michigan its first regular season loss since 2021 and first home loss since 2020.

On "SEC Nation," Laura Rutledge asked Paul Finebaum to name what team deserved to be the best in the country. Finebaum critiqued the top 25 rankings before aiming at Michigan. The Wolverines went from 10th to 17th after losing to the Longhorns.

Finebaum stated that four or five SEC teams could have won in Ann Arbor like Texas did. He also said that the Wolverines were not "capable of anything."

"...I don't think Michigan's capable of anything," Finebaum said. "I think there's four or five SEC teams that would've gone up to the Big House and done the same thing. So, it's really an easy answer."

The Georgia Bulldogs, Texas, Alabama Crimson Tide, Ole Miss Rebels, Missouri Tigers, and Tennessee Volunteers are all inside the top 10. The Oklahoma  Sooners and LSU Tigers are the only SEC teams outside of the top 10, ranked 15th and 16th.

Michigan faces Arkansas State in Week 3. Kickoff is at noon ET on Big Ten Network.
