Nick Saban, Bear Bryant, Woody Hayes, Bernie Bierman and Frank Leahy are inside the top five for most national titles won in college football history. Saban leads all coaches with seven. Saban won six with the Alabama Crimson Tide and one with the LSU Tigers in 2003.

Tim Tebow knows something about winning national titles. Tebow's coach with the Florida Gators, Urban Meyer, won two in Gainesville in 2006 and 2008. Meyer won another with the Ohio State Buckeyes in 2014.

On "SEC Nation," Tebow discussed Saban's leadership qualities after Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe talked about current head coach Kalen DeBoer. DeBoer took over after Saban retired following the Rose Bowl last season.

Tebow called Saban the best coach in college football and college sports history.

"I think leadership comes in all forms and fashions, sizes and shapes," Tebow said. "It's different. You look throughout our history. Different leaders have done it in different ways. Obviously, Nick Saban is one of the best, if not the best, to have ever done it in college sports."

Since leaving the coaching world, Saban has stepped into a role as an analyst on "College GameDay." Saban works alongside Pat McAfee, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, and Lee Corso.

The former Alabama head coach took his team to the College Football Playoff last season. The Crimson Tide lost to the Michigan Wolverines in the Rose Bowl.

Alabama's first road game under DeBoer is in Week 3 when it travels to Madison to take on the Wisconsin Badgers.

Kickoff is at noon ET on Fox.
