The Ohio State Buckeyes are as close to being a wide receiver factory as you can get. The void left by former star wideout Marvin Harrison Jr. seems to be filled thanks to the emergence of freshman Jeremiah Smith.

He's not only the No. 1-ranked freshman wide receiver from the 2024 class, but he was the top-ranked player overall. "Big Noon Kickoff" co-host Brady Quinn says he's definitely playing that way.

Not only does he say he could be one of the top freshmen in the country, but he even compared him to fellow Ohio legend LeBron James in terms of his dominance on the football field.

"This guy reminds me a lot when I saw him play in high school, and people might say it's kind of nuts," Quinn said. "When I saw LeBron play with the same class and the same talent in basketball, that's what Jeremiah Smith looked like playing high school football in Miami."

That talent is translating to the college level. Smith has already hauled in 11 receptions for 211 yards and three touchdowns between his first two games in the Scarlet and Grey.
