Florida State fell to 0-3 on Saturday and former standout quarterback Jordan Travis feels for the Seminoles.

Florida State's season has spiraled after an opening loss to Georgia Tech, followed by a 28-13 defeat against Boston College. Once ranked No. 10 in the nation, the Seminoles have now tumbled out of the rankings entirely.

Travis spent five seasons at Florida State, including last year. The Seminoles finished the regular season 13-0 but were notably left out of the College Football Playoff with Travis injured.

Travis — now with the New York Jets — attempted to rally the disgruntled Seminoles fanbase on Saturday, with Florida State trailing 13-3 at halftime against Memphis.

"I don’t think I am going to watch FSU football the rest of the year. This is embarrassing," one fan wrote , generating a response from Travis.

"I understand the feeling bruh, but we have been here before," Travis said . "They need our support more than anything right now. They are hurting more than us right now."

It's been rough for Florida State but head coach Mike Norvell has preached that his team needs to play loose and have fun.

"When you get your opportunity to go play this game, you've got to cut it loose," Norvell said. "And just trust your training, trust your fundamentals, trust your communication, the guy to the left, and the guy to the right.

"It doesn't mean there's not going to be a bad thing that shows up in the course of a contest, but it's the response that you have in that. I've got a lot of confidence in where this team will continue to grow to."

Florida State entered as a 6.5-point favorite against Memphis, per ESPN BET. The Seminoles lost 20-12, failing to stage a late comeback.
