Fox Sports Analyst Called Out for Fake Travis Kelce News

The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Baltimore Ravens 27-20 in their season opener on Thursday Night Football and want to remain undefeated when they take on the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2.

Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, who had a quiet night against the Ravens, catching just three passes for 34 yards, will look to make a bigger impact against the Bengals on September 15. Fans are hoping that Kelce's biggest cheerleader, girlfriend Taylor Swift, will return to Arrowhead Stadium to support the team on Sunday afternoon.

During the extended week between games, Swift publicly endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris and Tim Walz for the 2024 presidential election, which caught X owner Elon Musk's attention. Musk, 53, posted on the site, "“Fine Taylor … you win … I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life.”

The following day, an account pretending to be Kelce responded to Musk's disturbing tweet. While the response was fake, the 34-year-old All-Pro did not reply to Musk's message, Fox Sports analyst Colin Cowherd thought it was real.

"I saw yesterday, Elon Musk and Travis Kelce going at it. Travis Kelce taking a shot at Elon Musk on X," Cowherd said on his eponymous show, "The Herd," before moving on to the next topic.

While Musk's tweet about Swift was unfortunately real, Kelce's response was not. The Chiefs star did not write, "I'm 6'5' and actually play football. The fact I went to college and got a degree and worked hard might be lost on you. I don't play backgammon but I do play chess. I could also twist you into a pretzel."
