Kirk Herbstreit has approved of ESPN's decision for the popular college football pregame show. College GameDay made the announcement Saturday evening that it would be heading to Norman, Oklahoma, for a huge early-season SEC tilt.

Herbstreit and the GameDay crew are coming off an SEC tilt in Week 3, in which the LSU Tigers came from behind to down the South Carolina Gamecocks. The score finished at 36-33 following a 14-point fourth quarter for the Tigers.

Next week, two teams with undefeated seasons are going to face off. The Tennessee Volunteers are 3-0 and coming off a blowout win at home over Kent State. For the home team, the Sooners beat up Tulane in Week 3. This will be the Sooners' first SEC game.

After the announcement, Herbstreit expressed his excitement about heading to Norman for the Tennessee vs. Oklahoma game.

"Let's go," the College GameDay analyst said.

This game is going to feature two of the top quarterbacks in all of college football. Nico Iamaleava has been terrific for the Volunteers in the early going. The 6-foot-6, 215-pound signal caller from Long Beach, California, led his team to a 65-0 lead in the first half. You read that correctly.

For the Oklahoma Sooners, Jackson Arnold has 7 passing touchdowns through the first 3 games of the season. Arnold also rushed for two touchdowns in the latest win over Tulane.
